Overview

The Morita Mk4 is a slimline carbine used for close-quarters operations. Its light ammunition and polymer frame also makes it ideal for those carrying heavy equipment.

History

Originally used by the Office of Special Warfare during its prototype phase, the Mk4 quickly became an icon of OSW’s mystery. The weapon was highly sought after as a result, and it was at first issued to select troopers during a slow roll-out period.

When development eventually came to a close and the weapon was issued en masse, it lost some of its special forces lustre, though it still retains the light handling and ultra-short form factor which originally enamoured OSW to the design.

The integrated 40mm underbarrel grenade launcher which had originally been paired with the design was removed and replaced with a modular detachable version, for ease of manufacturing.
