Treatment The area was flushed before being packed with hemostatic dressings before several trauma dressings were used to bind the packing material into position and aid in wound compression.

A painkiller ampule was pushed, but no MEDEVAC was available ground side so he was walking wounded. Upon return to the ship, he was transferred to the care of on-duty medical personnel and the auto-doc surgical suite.
