Attending physician James Spencer (500153)
Severity Serious
Details Patient was burned by a tanker during the defence of an airfield. The flame burned through his equipment and weapon. Consequently, the material melted into his skin and caused second and third degree burns. The burns were located on his right arm and hip, covering approximately 10% of the skin in those locations.
Treatment Patient retrieved to a safe location. Material/equipment was removed as allowed to see the burned area, then rapidly cleansed out and washed away. The burn areas were covered using the bioskin fluid, and then covered in multiple hydrogel-based bandages to prevent infection. The patient was subsequently MEDEVAC'ed.

Subsequently, the patient was placed in a healing chamber to allow the skin tissue to be repaired.
