Operation Eagle's Fist: Day 3

Misfits were deployed to a sector of Klendathu to eliminate plasma and push through Landing Zone Charlie towards an old FOB to assess the viability of the location to still be used.

Misfits inserted via dropship into a canyon. Proceeding along said canyon, Misfit closed holes and took our plasma. Eventually moving to the top of said canyon to investigate the wreck of a craft. The Craft was cleared and a single wounded Mobile Infantry trooper was extracted.

Once complete, Misfit moved on towards the old FOB. HIGHCOMM informed the Misfit element that power needed to be restored to the FOB for it to operate and have the gate open. Misfit proceeded on, returning power to the gate via various junction locations and then proceeded into the FOB.

Inside the FOB, Misfit had to close several holes. The FOB however was a trap. Plasma and mass arachnid forces started to surround and attack the compound as EVAC was called. The first boat was hit by plasma on the way in and never made it to the ground.

A second boat was called for as Misfit continued to hold position, surrounded by the advancing arachnid forces. Making good use of firewalls to sustain position. Eventually, Misfit boarded a boat and attempted extract as a Royal surfaced in the middle of the FOB.

The pilot of the boat was inexperienced, clearly and the boat was sent smashing into the ground, causing several wounds to personnel inside and killing the pilot. Misfit set up a perimeter and called for an additional boat.

The additional boat arrived and misfit boarded, once more dusting as this pilot was wiped out by a kamikaze hopper. Causing the dropship to crash once more. Misfit again survived the crash, the shitty pilot didn't.

Misfit 1-1 made the decision to walk back to base because clearly Fleet don't have a single good fucking pilot. Highcomm was less than helpful, as usual. Misfit continued on foot, fighting off hordes of arachnid forces until eventually they arrived back at base.

Operation Eagle's Fist: Day 2

Misfits were deployed to clear a Hopper Nest, one of the famous hopper nests of Klendathu.

Tight spaces, massive swarms, bad combination. We took alot of knocks and bashes but we managed to get through. There was unauthorized usage of a TON that is under investigation my Company Command.

Mid mission a Tac fighter was downed, the TAC fighter was not called into the fight and got caught in the nuke's blast. Which prompted a rescue mission.

Honestly, apart from the intensity. This is just another day for us Pathfinders, clearing out hives and blowing away bugs.

Operation: Eagle's Fist

Misfits were deployed to the surface of Klendathu ahead of the first wave invasion forces to pave the way for invasion. Misfits were infiled to deal with a heavy concentration of plasma in the air and secure the airspace in the AO ahead of the invasion.

Moving on Misfits were tasked with further elimination of plasma and securing a landing zone for the Mobile Infantry. Once done, the Mobile Infantry were deployed and Misfit attached to the MI Unit. Proceeding together, the MI and Pathfinders moved further into the sector, the Pathfinders and two MI platoons set up security while a third platoon of MI constructed an FOB.

Upon successful construction, Misfit pulled back into the FOB and is currently posted there.

RCS-18 • March 03, 2321 • Johnathan Hyde (500785)
Operation: Raider

Misfits were sent planeside to find out what happened to a fellow Pathfinder platoon. Avery Drake had been deployed with them so it was quite important to this unit. The Pathfinders were sent to a FFRL RnD facility for god knows what reason, when we fought through the Arachnids to arrive we found the hidden facility and entered it.

Inspection of the deceased pathfinders we found on location showed a high powered weapon being used, non bullet based, not an arachnid Talon. We descended further into the facility, opening up the doors to the control room to encounter multiple Skinnies holding Drake hostage. Drake was unresponsive. The Skinnies were attempting to bargain for a way out using our lives, and drakes, as collateral.

I called Cortes to my head, and I had a quick brief that Cortes believed that the Skinnies were better then we were, and we'd all be killed if they chose to engage. So I leveled the playing field by arming a HEDP warhead to create a MAD Negotiation scale. I was not willing to leave the Drives behind with the skinnies.

Eventually in negotiation they wanted Vane to be alone with Drake, as they escorted her out. They had Drake, and the Drives. But I had a plan. I refused to let Vane go along and sent our Sensor with them. Federation Protocols dictate I could not allow FFRL data to fall into enemy hands. So using Vane's IFF data I nuked the Skinny vessel after Drake was released into our custody.

Returning to the ship, Drake succumbed to her wounds and was declared Deceased at 0030.

RCS-85 • March 01, 2321 • Kara Cox (500855)
Operation: Observer

Misfits were deployed to the region to undertake an AO assessment for FOB locations. Fighting our way through arachnid forces, Misfits arrived at an old missle bunker. The bunker had a heavy presence of Chariot bugs. It was cleared and assessed for potential location. Upon completion of that check, Misfits escaped the location through underground seweage system as arachnid forces had garrisoned the exit.

Exiting from the sewage tunnel, Misfit continued on towards a road tunnel, enroute every member of the team except Master Sergeant Cox was taken by hoppers and the resulting injuries could not be treated on the field. The decision was made to medically Evac the wounded and Master Sergeant Cox proceeded on tasking alone.

After exploring a bug tunnel and coming topside once more. A singular reinforcement was deployed to join the Master Sergeant as they continued. The newly reformed team proceeded towards a POI marked by HIGHCOMM. The newly arrived reinforcement was overwhelmed and surrounded, choosing to shoot himself in the head.

Once more, Master Sergeant Cox continued on tasking, alone again. Proceeding to the POI and assessing the large building for potential FOB site. Upon completion, contact was made with HIGHCOMM. The decision to continue scouting the area was made and the Master Sergeant continued on with the scouting of the region.

At this point, Master Sergeant Cox proceeded into the town and assessed an old ore processing plant as a potential location. Reporting in once complete and then moving on yet again to continue scouting. This brought the Master Sergeant to the final location. An elevated village.

The village was swept and assessed as a potential location, upon reporting the viability to Highcomm, The Master Sergeant was advised to evac the AO, doing so.

Operation Neuron: Day 3

Misfit was deployed to the planet to take on a hopper nest. Due to the amount of hostile air in the AO, Misfit was inserted five clicks from the eventual nest location. At the time, Sergeant Cortell was drop leading.Misfit proceeded on towards the suspect nest lcoation on foot.

After about two clicks Misfit was provided a Sarissa, Eagle Two for use in the AO to help stem the oncoming horde. The Sarissa arrived alongside Staff Sergeant Hyde and the team continued on. Pinkerton was the operator of the Sarissa however after a mere few minutes, it was lost and abandoned. Misfit once again proceeding on foot.

As Misfit was proceeding out of this sector of the AO, Lance Corporal Pinkerton was impaled by three barbs from a cliffmite. One of them, impaled his neck. Technical Sergeant Vane was able to assist him and Specialist Vinson helped provide effective respirations. Pinkerton was then Medevac'd as Misfit continued on to the next sector.

In this sector, Misfit proceeded to the Dam which held the suspected Hopper nest. It was confirmed upon arrival that the hopper nest was indeed inside of the dam. The team arrived and found one of the main tunnel shafts inside the dam's control room. Staff Sergeant Hyde and Technical Sergeant Vane stayed behind to geonav a TON into the nest while the rest of the team got out of the blast zone.

Hyde and Vane proceeded back to the rest of the team as the Geonav made it's way into the tunnels. Soon enough it detonated, the entire team was alive as the dam started to collapse and the tunnels below it no doubt flooding.

It was at this point, both psychics present for the operation came under attack by the psychic bug. Attempts were made to assist them but it seemed fruitless. The medics were evacuated and the rest of the team proceeded on with the new tasking of locating and reporting the location of the psychic bug.

Misfit continued on and took out some plasma remaning in the AO. Soon after, the psychic bug was spotted. It's position was reported and Misfit was tasked to proceed on. Moving to the next sector, Misfit took more losses. Both Staff Sergeant Hyde and Sergeant Cortell got wounded and needed to be Medevac'd.

After that Medevac. Technical Sergeant Vane took over as drop lead. Leading a five man pathfinder unit to a secluded bunker and being instructed to hold that location until Mobile Infantry units could complete objectives and exfil. The bunker was defended valiantly by the troopers present, unfortunately Private First Class Tent was critically wounded with an impalement and internal arterial bleed. He was made stable, placed on an IV.

When Evac eventually arrived, Misfit decided against a roof top extraction due to having to move wounded and the presence of hoppers and cliff mites in the AO. They proceeded down into underground tunnels with no idea of the layout of said tunnels. Eventually coming to a large hangar.

Within the hangar, Misfit held off arachnid attack as Lance Corporal Tanaka opened up the large hangar door. Eventuallyt, Misfit could evacuate. Medbay full.

Operation Neuron: Day 2

Mitchell's Misfits was sent back down to planet P as requested by Fleet Rescue to assist in the recovery of personnel from the UCF Douglas MacArthur. We deployed with vehicular support but Hoppers managed to take it's turret from it. We mounted up and made our way to the objective where we had 1 team outside defending the exfil point and one team inside.

Cortes appears to of had a Psychic attack, apart from that. Nothing really notable about this mission.

Sole Survivor, 1 ensign of fleet. From a crew of 7000. Don't sit well with me.

Operation Neuron: Day 1

After deploying to Planet P to destroy a series of Plasmabugs, suffering several casualties to initial bug swarm as well as Hoppers due to intermittent swatch.

Tactical Oxygen nukes were deployed efficiently to eliminate the Arachnid tunnel network. Privates Vinson and Tent both lost legs in the initial engagements, followed by Tech Sergeant Vane requiring Medical Extraction, and finally Lance Corporal Torres. We were then instructed to move towards the next AO.

Upon reaching the next area of operations we held position at an old communications outpost while slinging nukes and conventional ordinance at surrounding plasma batteries before having to charge the last 2 hidden batteries.

During this time the UCF Explorer was shot down, we were made to extract via a Valley where we were picked up by a dropship deployed by the UCF Onoda.

Planet P • February 24, 2321 • Áine Redmond (500830)
Operation Glassed Dunes

Misfit's were deployed in low quantity to Planet P to serve as forward observers for tactical air assets assigned to the planet, with the intention of eliminating Arachnid reinforcements and ensuring presently fielded units do not face additional resistance.

Due to limited numbers Lance Corporal Redmond took responsibility of Drop Lead, under Technical Sergeant Vane's advisory she also operated the laser designator to direct tactical air elements in the area. Arrival was uneventful and entrenchment successful without issue.

From this point communication with HIGHCOMM and Tactical Air units resulted in successful direction of CAS to the mass destruction of the Bug Horde, with an authorized TON Strike eliminating a mass clumping of tanker and plasma bugs. Once the horde was primarily decimated arachnid forces instead tried to engage the forward observers from their post. An emplaced machine gun and on call airstrikes ensured no casualties were taken.

Exfiltration by air was successfully and expediously conducted.

Planet P • February 24, 2321 • Kara Cox (500855)
Operation: Dispatcher

Misfits were deployed back to P to attempt to reactivate a communication post on the planet. Additionally they were tasked to scout a village along the route for signs of life and asses viability for an outpost location.

Upon infil to the AO the DR-4 dusted revealling a cave system to it's rear. We proceeded to the cave and quickly scouted it before decising to move on. Pressing on from that location Misfits scouted and cleared the village. It could protentially be used as an outpost given work.

After the scouting of the village, contact was made with Highcomm. Misfits were informed of a stranded pathfinder unit in the AO and proceeded to assist. Misfits encountered the downed unit beside a crashed dropshit. They had a few minor wounded and Misfits plus that unit were forced to take cover from a sandstorm.

That unit informed myself of troopers being dragged off by bugs, alive. Still, we proceeded on with our primary tasking, to reactivate the comms relay. We were unable to contact Highcomm for the duration of that task. Pinkerton was able to get the base generator repaired and bring the communications system online while we defended the outpost.

During the defence of the outpost, Warrant Officer Cortés came under psychic assault from a psychic bug. She was able to recover herself and fight off the bug this time as droplead stood over here ready to act out if things were unrecoverable.

The defence of the outpose stressed the unit and all but two members of the team were out of ammunition as we finally managed to restore comms. Upon being resupplied the Misfits moved east towards the last known of the missing troopers.

Misfits encountered a large hole in the ground that lead to a small cave, we proceeded down and pushed in. Inside the cave we found some type of new bug caste. It's body has been recovered for FFRL. As well as the missing pathfinders. Both had all brain matter missing from thier heads. After that, we evacuated the tunnel and sealed it with HEDP from Pinkerton. At that point, proceeding to higher ground for exfil after a long encounter with the arachnids.

Planet P • February 23, 2321 • Kara Cox (500855)
Operation: High Hill

Misfits were deployed back to the planet following an earlier drop and subsiqent bombardment by fleet of the sector in which Misfits undertook operation. Once the Misfit element was in the AO, they proceeded to high ground under the droplead's orders. A perimeter was secured that held security long enough for Specialist Teller was able to deploy his nanodrone.

The Nanodrone scouting gave us an initial direction of travel as well as confirmed three holes that we had eyes on. Teller himself took out the first hole, Lance Corproal Pinkertone took our the second at just over five hundred meters with the M55.

Misfits proceeded east along rocky ridglines with some difficulty in traversal. Reaching a somewaht stable position with elevation, we were able to set up and request ammo while CAS undertook a sweet of the AO to assist in spotting bugholes that remained active after the fleet bombardment. This aerial sweep uncovered four seperate bugholes still active in the AO.

Misfits attempted to push to the first marker. The decision at that point was made that the terrian was non-traversable safely. The decision was made to request fire missions on the four marked holes, bringing to an end the bug activity in the AO. Exfil was requested and the Misfits left the AO, back to the Explorer.

Blue Skies

The objective is to clear out plasmids and holes for the MI.

Once Misfits landed in the area, Misfits pulled security fighting off a swarm of Bugs that were approaching their AO. Misfits soon after dispatching the horde moved close toward the first marker location clearing out Holes that they'd have to dispatch with en route to the site of Plasmids.

Misfits held onto a Hill, where they'd be resupplied before engaging into a hole in front of them clearing a pathway, for them to continue walking through. Due to Units not looking within the Skies a Trooper was wounded heavily. The trooper continued to patch themself up with the rest of the Misfits covering them.

Misfits to proceeded to eliminate all Plasmids within the AO clearing out all the Bug holes as well.

Job well done, we lived to tell the tale.

Operation: Hydra - Final Day

The plan was simple,

Nuke the perimeter wall, let the Archies in, blow the AA, bullshit our way to HQ and work it out from there.

The Nuking went without a hitch, the perimeter wall fell. We made our way towards the final objective, noting one last AA installation which we sabotaged on a time limit. We then proceeded towards the main stronghold as forces moved in the opposite direction towards the city to reinforce. We managed to bullshit our way through the checkpoint and then drove for an hour through a tunnel to get to the stronghold.

After further recon we found there were hundreds of troops down there and we needed a plan. A patrol was spotted and I got Alpha team to go and trace it back to its origin. They found a back door. So we waited until nighttime.

When night time came around we prepared for the raid, the guards were swapping to NVG's overnight. I then got Vane to drive up in the truck on highbeam to ruin their nightvision and we could begin our assault. We took out the gate guards cleanly. But we set off an alarm once we were inside. But then it was too late for them, as we were already inside.

Teller jammed the enemy Radio while we pushed through the tunnel, that's where we lost the Lieutenant. He pushed forward with an E-Pulse 88 to engage the enemy from the front. He was knocked down by one bullet, before a second went through their armor. They were fatally wounded in the lung, Article Six was recommended by Tech Sergeant Vane and I granted it as drop lead under Article 6 subsection B.

From there, we pushed out into the compound. Called an orbital strike to get us unsuppressed before pushing out to engage troops on the left and right. Cortes informed me that the HVT's were above us and I saw a landing platform. I then ordered Redmond to fire Lizardlines up there before getting Bravo to ascend. Stopping just before the edge to toss bangs and smokes.

As they crested, Cortes used her big brain to eliminate two guards and the pilot. Causing the dropship to crash. VIP's were recovered and we extracted. The exfil was not clean, but the objectives were complete.

We managed to grab their encryption keys for their radio and get on channel, and acquire the truck of uniforms. Then we headed to the city, AA emplacements are mined and ready for detonation. Ammo has been purchased for Mark Ones. Those that did not bring Mark Ones as instructed are now feeling it.

After pushing through the arachnid zone and resupplying and rearming via supply drop(we lego pieced on a bionic leg onto the sergeant), we made it to enemy territory. We rigged all of our leftover munitions to blow and began to scout out the area. After some time we determiend that it would be prudent to disguise Cortes and Torres as civilians in the hope that they could sneak and obtain military outfits we could use to infiltrate the enemy base. This plan evolved and lead to the two obtaining admin IDs as well as uniforms. We then took several hours to wait for the opportunity to slip inside via a hole in the wall. This opportunity was granted to us when an enemy patrol set off our entire rocket supply, consisting of 100 kilos of HEAT, HEDP, and TONs getting set off simultaneously. After that, it was simple to make it into the forest and set up shop.

Proceeded to the Comm Tower, found the first VIP wounded. Vane and Cortes extracted him via Medevac.

Then we proceeded down the river, found a scout. Vane Subdued the scout, Cortes read their mind. We got our target location for the second HVT.

Second HVT was in a farmhouse, We found out most of the guards were about to go on a booze run so we waited untill they were gone. Then Vane proceeded to enter in through the window to extract the HVT.

Mission Accomplished. We did not, startle the colony.

Operation Double Down

Objective: Infiltration and Gather Intelligence.

Upon landing down of the AO, Punishers pushed up and proceeded to head toward the location of Terroist outpost. Within the journey toward the outpost, Punises hid themselves from bugs choosing to not engage and keep it to a minimum.

Punishers soon arrived onto a downed, Skyhook that could have been seen to be old and rundown. Punishers moved into the Skyhook covering themselves from the Tanker that was present within the area.

Punishers arrived at the complex of the Outpost of where the Intel was located, Punishers managed to influence the bugs into attack at the entrance while they snuck in from behind killing who they needed to. Punishers snagged the Intelligence, interveneing with the outposts radios, not allowing the Terroists to have backup.

Punishers soon left the Complex with calling an Evac to be sent on their IFF, Punishers held off a small bug wave.

No one was harmed within the operation.

Forburn, Fielding • February 15, 2321 • Johnathan Hyde (500785)
Operation Urban Hunt

The operation started with an Infiltration Operation on a nightclub called the "Red Room." the team dressed down into civilian clothes and entered the bar in 3 infiltration teams.

Alpha - Johnathan Hyde and Melody Vale Bravo - Hector Cortell (SL), Sofia Torres, Alejandra Cortes Charlie - Aine Redmond (SL), Morita Pinkerton

Charlie Team was disguised as maintenance personnel, carrying bags containing a filed off Morita Carbine and Ventilator. These were disposable weapons that could be ditched. They entered the premises first supported by Cortes using her gifts to get them in without a bag check.

Bravo Team came after Charlie Team, their objective was to comb the main area for potential targets.

Alpha Team was to maintain over watch and keep an eye on the guards to make sure things ran smoothly.

Alpha Team proceeded to make their way into the VIP section by bribing the guards, Bravo contacted Alpha to let them know of a potential extraction target. Alpha proceeded to buy drugs off of the target to confirm affiliation.

Charlie managed to infiltrate up to the managers office from the rear entrance. Making it to the top stairs. Vane proceeded to the females toilets to find drug use, she confirmed it, she was assaulted by a tall stocky female Asian with a Ketamine syringe. She managed to subdue the assailant.

Charlie made their way to the Managers office, Alpha took out the guard at the bottom of the stairs. Bravo continued to provide support Cortes while she combed the crowd. Cortes joined with Hyde's mind as he took out the guard at the top of the stairs and Charlie got to work on the Keypad.

Cortes earned even more then her weight in gold when she managed to enter the mind of the Manager and get the keypad number for the engineers who entered and secured the manager. Vane then proceeded to extract the Drug Dealer targeted for extraction previously.

All teams managed to extract the Manager of the nightclub, and the dealer for information retrieval and proceeded to a locale called "The Den"

"The Den" was a fight club in an underground 2 room area, following my own intuition I presented myself as a Prize Fighter. Gave Vane Lead while I was inside. Cortes was inside my mind while I interacted with the manager of the establishment and took down their champion. As payment, they offered me an invitation to the "Big Leagues" and I took it to follow up on the lead.

On the way out, the MI conducted the raid to clear the Den. I was not implicated.

Following the address and invitation given to me, I arrived at the manor with Cortes in my mind. Cortell was sent back to grab the big guns for a raid as the Squad Leader for the infiltration team. I met with management, they said they had guests they were processing and Cortes believed she felt our primary target. So I pulled the trigger after calling a quarantine of the area.

After I extracted myself, Cortell made the call for his team to infiltrate. Where they managed to take out several armed guards and rescue the Lieutenant. Arachnids had been found caged on site and left for the Major.

One of the big-wigs attempted to leave via vehicle, and promptly rammed into the roadblock I had set in place. He's being treated and sent to intel for memory retrieval.

I love it when a good plan comes together.

Operation Breach Hold

Objective: Pathfinders were instructed to help relieve PDF forces of excess Arachnid activity during the initial invasion/evacuation of a colony's city by Arachnid Forces.

-Lost Equipment: 1x MBT, 4x HMG emplacements.

-WIA, KIA: Cpl. Torres (Major injury), LCpl. Cortell (Major injury), LCpl. Monet (Major), PFC. Merk (Minor)

-Estimated Bug Losses: >3k

Initial touch down with MBT slowed Arachnid advance for emplacements, ammunition, and prefabs to arrive. Heavy Warrior concentration, MBT moved forward too far but was able to pull back to defensible location. Pre-Fabs were constructed, where the initial siege began. After some time, LCpl. Cortell was injured defending LCpl. Teller from Arachnid pile. Bombardment of Cluster Mines followed extraction. Hopper/Skywatch ineffective due to lack of communication/switching of roles. Resulted in TSgt. Vane being launched into nearby lake. Cpl. Torres ordered retreat over the bridge, where arachnid forces pushed on all sides and crawled up the walls. MBT forced to be abandoned at that stage, emplacement and mortar recovered. Tanker pushed the bridge, HEAT rocket resulted in mortart destruction due to close proximity. Cpl. Torres wounded by bug assault on her left flank, crawling up bridge. LCpl. Teller assumed DL after extraction, more prefabs and emplacements requested. Hoppers pulled off LCpl. Monet into arachnid swarm outside of prefab walls, resulting in injury. PFC. Merk abandoned post without word to recover, resulting in minor injury.

Closing Remarks: Mission was success in giving PDF respite from Arachnid Hordes, minor casualty count on Pathfinder squad. Recommend work on communication and emplacement usage.

Operation New Dawns

The Punishers were deployed to the Intel Facility by Military Intelligence under command of Corporal Johnathan Hyde. Lance Corporal Harrison was deployed as Second in Command to extract two FFRL researchers in a Laboratory under siege.

When the Punishers arrived we attached out suppressors and started off quietly. We picked off two guards at the entrance before moving to the staircase. Cortes and Drake suppressed the next sentry and we pulled them back and got Cortes to enter their mind for intel.

We discovered there were 50 hostile personnel inside the facility, though we encountered more. Furthermore that they wanted our 2 FFRL personnel alive. We pushed further eliminating another man before moving into the open atrium. Drake psychically suppressed the man aiming at the door while the MI made their entry and silenty took out the occupants.

One of the troopers were seen and the alarm was raised, a firefight broke out. Zero wounds or casualties on the Punishers side. Furthermore we discovered the body of a Federation Admiral by the name of Sarah Adamson. The Level 4 Keycard was retrieved and we entered the level 4 restricted area of the base after authorization and permission was confirmed.

Prior to entry Drake and Cortes were ordered to use their gifts to instigate a firefight within the facility, forcing the Seperatists to fire upon eachother and allow us the upper hand in battle. They succeed with this as once more, we managed to sweep in and take out the enemy with no casualties.

The FFRL VIPs that were were sent to find were not located, however, their bodies were also not located. Intel has deployed to collect evidence and I have briefed the troops to speak nothing of what they saw.

The Helions then looked around for evidence and found weaponry as well as three crates of Rave. After grabbing all evidence found, We detained one of her 'security guards' and handed them over to the local PDF.

A data pad had information that the HVT was meeting with an unknown person at a warehouse in a Federation city 10 minutes away from the residency by flight. Hellion was deployed to Forberne, Fielding after intelligence was brought up of a HVT affiliated with a terrorist cell we had multiple engagements with across a few strategic landmarks. A smooth shuttle ride brought Alpha team lead by Corporal Sofia Torres into the heart of Forberne where a short walk has lead them to the entrance of a sewage system. Going down the ladder they encountered their first door which they were quick to open only to find two Civilians under the influence of illegal narcotics, the Civilians were detained and evacuated by the PDF shortly after. Alpha team was met with multiple hallways leading deeper into the sewage system which caused them to split up into two teams, one lead by the Second in Command Lance Corporal Mark Teller. The two teams were quickly met with hostile forces unable to avoid them leading to multiple firefights resulting in a few dozen eliminated Terrorists. As they ventured deeper, Corporal Sofia Torres suffered an internal injury causing her to be treated and MEDEVAC'd immediately, shortly after Lance Corporal Mark Teller suffered a similar fate and they were both evacuated. Alpha team rallied up with their now designated squad leader Lance Corporal Harel Merton.

They continued the same path leading down to an underground bunker masked by the filth of never ending sewage locked by a keypad needing a keycard which they found after a short search of the terrorist bodies. A perimeter was formed and the bunker door was opened only to be met with immediate conflict with barricaded suspects of the unknown terrorist cell. Alpha team was quick to eliminate them only to be met with waves of raging fire spreading across the bunker. As they cleared room to room they found multiple documents and a suspect wielding a flamethrower burning down the bunker, and was also seen inside of a cell with an unknown Female, burning her down. Alpha team shot down the suspect and dragged the Female out of the cell and quickly evacuated the sewage system with the unknown Female. It is unknown if the Female is the HVT due to severe burns making facial recognition a lot harder, she is brought in for further investigation.

There was a few POI's from command that we went to check out, First of which was a warehouse. which seemed to only house an unmarked skyhook, which was later piloted away from the area.

We then came under a compound when we heard shots ringing through the valley. We got to higher ground to get better observation. We decided then to head closer to the area. TSgt. Vane had managed to get close enough to overhear a conversation undetected. A background check was conducted on 'Garzia Galactics' which revealed they were a shipping company, only they were not licensed to deal with firearms. One building was being guarded, in which LCpl. Hellions landed at Charlie Outpost to assist the 321st Mobile Infantry Battalion under the command of Lt. Sofia Mazzi in destroying a bug hive by planting DOTONs. Upon arrival, a plan was made to deal with the plasmas that prevented MEDEVAC from being called in or the ability to advance. The plasmas were killed and we pressed onward, killing off waves of bugs as we advanced.

Once the Hellions entered the second half of the valley, Lance Corporal Strong was injured and immediately MEDEVAC'd. Hellions continued to press onward where the largest concentrations of Plasmas were present, needing to neutralize them we began to engage. Lance Corporal Woods was injured by a cliffmite and unconscious, at risk of being overrun and needing the rifles available to shoot rather than carry the wounded, the decision was made to A6 them. Afterwards, Specialist Jackson opened fire with a TON without proper protocol and nearby units were unable to evade. Once reported HIGHCOMM demanded he be A11'd and it was carried out.

As the Hellions continued into hive, we made our way to the central chamber to find dead bugs including a large slug-like creature. As the DOTON's were planted a royal interupted causing three men to get trapped and after planting the bombs, Lance Corporal Teller distracted the Royal at the cost of injuring himself. Many of those in the unit would be injured as the Hellions continued to rush and fight our way out, Lance Corporal Seltz was among those who couldn't make it.

The DOTON's were set off and the remainder of the unit was returned to the Explorer

Operation: Blood Thicker than Water

Gladiator deployed near a bug hive and fought tooth and nail to push through the mountain range. Calling in plenty of artillery strikes and with support of Dagger-1 they pushed through taking minimal casualties. Petrov showed excellence in combat knowledge with his usage of the flame thrower attachment. Dagger-1 eventually crashed due to hopper interceptors. Gladiator moved in to recover and EVAC the pilot. Gladiator was given a choice to pull out but refused and pushed onwards into the hive. Placing two DOTONs and clearing half the hive out with rifle fire alone. Roberts showed excellence in his usage of the M55. Taking out swaths of Plasma and Tanker bugs. Requiring three separate resupplies for his M55 usage alone.

Gladiator placed their DOTONs and ex-filled. A successful detonation of a hive.

We dropped in to route out and destroy bug holes. So that's what we did. We killed a lot of bugs. And then I decided there was too many bugs for us to handle as a small unit. So we fired a TON to the South east, south west. Then got moving and we fired another TON to the south, and blew them motherfuckers up good and proper, yer.

Gladiators was sent out to retrieve research for MOBCOMM on the planet of Chastrilles. Due to lower numbers, a single element was formed directly under my command.

Upon arrival to the first bunker, Gladiators found that the MI garrison that had previously manned it was already KIA. Specialist Ramsey collected the tags and we proceeded down into the bunker.

Once Gladiators arrived to the other end of the tunnel, the plasmas were using a small town for cover in a valley. Once the plasmas were all killed, Gladiators continued West until we reached an abandoned MI Checkpoint while still fighting off the warriors.

Entering into a darker valley, the bugs made use of having the elevated terrain on either side of us. Gladiators kept firing on the move and punched a hole through the bugs before a massive wave of warriors began to give chase.

Once we made it out of the valley, Gladiators were updated with markers on the position of the research facility we were intended to search.

Once Gladiators arrived, we found a hole in the floor that gave access to the basement and proceeded down towards the lab. Minor contact was made. Eventually all of the dossiers were retrieved and we were clear to continue on.

It was here that we found the facility was largely compromised with a vast bug tunnel network already dug into it. The final file was taken and we rushed out due to being low on ammo and a big wave incoming.

Operation Donkey Punch: Day 7

Gladiators deployed from the FOB towards the main hive of the arachnids. Proceed in bugs seemed unusally passive. Ignoring us most of the time. We proceeded on, later discovering that the bugs were being influenced and aware of our presence. It was a trap.

While down there we encountered a weird bug with eight eyes and a "Vagina mouth" as was described. Upon discovering the trap, arachnid presence intensified and they had started the process of destroying eggs. The Gladiators continued into the tunnels and claimed some undamaged eggs. Four in total. Upon arrival back at the Hiroo Onoda, three were turned over to Military Intelligence, intact.

The bug mentioned was recorded by Leeson and Kerala.

Operation Donkey Punch: Day 5

The FOB came under heavy attack by accurate, indirect fire from arachnid plasma batteries. Due to the sheer number of plasma in the AO, Fleet were unable to get air support or Medevac to the FOB location. Due to lack of other NCOs at the time and the base being in poor condition, Gladiators contacted MOBCOMM and a plan was formed for the Gladiators to push out and take out the plasma in our sector of the AO.

Fleet eventually managed to find a pilot willing to fly the dropship to the location. We took the dropship along with one Eagle IFV to the area the Plasma were in. Once landed, Alpha formed a perimeter and Cortés used her talents to locate the first group of plasma, we got visual reference for location later as we saw plasma entering the sky.

Alpha proceeded slowly to the first location, working cohesively under the control of Lance Corporal Kerala. Assisted by the IFV. The Command element, made up of myself and the late arrival of Sergeant Keller kept an eye on the situation.

We found the first plasma up on a ridgeline, we engaged it with the IFV and eventually, the ATGMs and bullets from the vehicle took it down. With that success under our belt. We continued along this ridgeline, closing bug holes as we moved. Eventually we spotted a second set of plasma, there were tucked away behind a depression in the terrain, Roberts, who was driving the IFV was once more able to eliminate these plasma.

The final set of plasma could then be seen, far off to our north east. The decision was made to lob a ton over a mountain and airburst it. Roberts was the one to do this yet again, successfully taking out the plasma.

Contact was then made over LRR by a callsign, Saviour One Three. Informing us of a "Large bug" they were attempting to track and eliminate. Soon enough, we found out exactly what that bug was. A huge plasma, bigger than any bug I'd ever seen personally emerged from the ground.

Gladiators made the decision to pull the troopers back to safe distance so we could deploy a TON. Roberts deployed the TON, landing a hit but it did very little to the plasma, merely wounding it. With assistance from Saviour One Three they were able to GEONAV a TON to the location and this one managed to take it out thanks to Roberts weakening it.

At that point, MOBCOMM Informed the AO was clear and a dropship was deployed to take us back to the FOB

Denebola • January 16, 2321 • Wolfram Keller (500186)
Operation Donkey Punch: Bug Mountain Offensive

The gladiators were tasked with the seizure of an airfield and an offensive on the bug flank. The Gladiators flew as close as possible on a sky hook and began their march towards the air field. An attempt to cross a bridge failed when they encountered the main force of bugs and were forced to pull back. Blowing the bridge in the process. The Gladiators were forced to take the long way around, Roberts utilized his M55 expertly and ultimately ran out of ammo, 40mms are an effective tactic against bug holes. Would recommend in the future to save HEAT ammo. The gladiators crossed a second bridge and eliminated two plasma batteries. Then they pushed to the airfield and took control. Private Ben Aitkenson, with no regard to his own saftey, rushed forwards to climb an MG tower and lay waste to the bugs. Covering the entire platoon as they rushed into the air field. Bugs hot on their heels. Giving the platoon the brief respite that they needed to get entrenched. Supplies and reinforcements were called in.

The second phase of the operation begins. Though interrupted by new plasma batteries on top of a mountain. A mobile Infantry platoon - Callsign Iron Wheel - was pushed back off the mountain and taking heavy casualties. Gladiators pushed in with two IFVs and an MBT. They pushed up the mountain under heavy bug assaults. Literally and metaphorically fighting an uphill battle. Total plasma battery kill count on the mountain is six. Once the plasma was cleared, Gladiators came under heavy assault and was saved by Dagger-1 Hiroo Onadas Aviation's wing.

The Gladiators pushed back down the path and relieved the air field once again from a counter offensive from the bugs. They held and Private Cortell was critically wounded. However, the bugs retreated and the airfield was secured. Mission Success.

Pushing forward to secure a hill Keller called in the first of many TONs south east. Took a few wounded as Roberts took out several bug holes with utmost competency and EVAC was called on the hanger designated as the new FOB. Pushing towards the hanger a few more casualties were gained and the bug onslaught continued. Staff Sergeant Dougherty gave out proper warnings and followed procedures to notify any MI and pilots in the area of a TON going off in the south. The MEDEVAC did not heed the warnings and was grounded. The MI continued to the FOB and cleared it of holes outside and inside. Staff Sergeant Dougherty put himself at risk to close the bug holes inside with a few hand grenades. Supplies, ammo, and another MEDEVAC was called while the MI set up the new FOB with great success.

The Highlanders moved to search and rescue operations to collect the crashed MEDEVAC. However, the crew was dead on impact. The Highlanders soon Evacuated.

The Highlanders took part in their Canadian Rockies exercise, taking part in a 3-way war game between the Maulers, the Hydras and the Reivers.

The Reivers, true to their nature, excelled themselves by conducting recon on the rival squads.

The Maulers brought force to bear almost immediately, showing excellent aggression.

The Hydras played it tactically, keeping their powder dry, ultimately leading to their victory.

SSgt. Hayashi was awarded the Bronze Star for the Hydra's victory.
