Details | Patient was hit in the face with a Cliffmite projectile. The resulting projectile destroyed a majority of his nose, and half of his jaw. The jaw in particular was noted for the following damage:
- left angle of the mandible fracture - parasymphysetic fracture |
Treatment | The patient's face was covered in a bandage while his airways were cleared to ensure he could bleed. Ketamine and TXA administered.
Patient evacuated within five minutes of sustaining wound. |
