Patient suffered six shrapnel wounds to the right forearm along with dislocation of the shoulder.

The shrapnel wounds were caused by a Cliffmite projectile. None had a depth above 0.5mm. Dislocated shoulder caused by a charging Arachnid warrior who caused no other injuries.

Treatment Shrapnel was cleaned using antiseptic and antibacterial wipes. Standard doses of tranexamic acid (stop excessive bleed) and lidocaine (local anaesthetic) applied. Shrapnel removed and wounds bandaged, no surgical intervention required nor stitches.

Patient's shoulder was placed back into socket using the 'closed reduction' method. No surgical intervention required.

Standard doses of antibiotics and painkillers given to patient and discharged for normal duties.
