Patient was blasted with a wave of flames from a Tanker. The flames melted the uniform and skin on her right arm and right hip, causing third-degree burns across much of aforementioned areas. |
| Treatment | Patient was dragged out of the flames after falling over and further injury prevented. Thereafter dragged into a building. Clothing surrounding the burns not stuck to her flesh removed. Hydro-gel applied to the burns and secured using a dry, sterile bandage. Patient wrapped in a thermal blanket and taken back to the FOB afterwards.
Due to extent of injuries, patient was evacuated to the UCF Hiroo Onoda. |
