|Description=The Gladiators were dropped on Vephinus III with 18 troopers and told to hold two bridges, shortly after establishing prefab defenses on the bridges the Arachnids began their offense, Alpha squad was almost immediately crippled with their Lead and 2IC being seriously wounded almost immediately.
After approximately 30 minutes after initial engagement, Alpha's lines began to collapse, in spite of the chaotic situation, Alpha was able to organize a successful retreat, suffering no casualties during the retreat and making their way to the crossroads connecting Alpha and Bravo's positions together.
Despite this successful retreat, the Arachnid presence was too great for Bravo to hold and by the time Alpha had made it to the intersection, Bravo's lines were also in total collapse after suffering increasingly large waves of Arachnids and sustaining multiple critically wounded.
The Gladiators were pushed back to the LZ and after a brief attempt at final defensive line around the LZ, we were forced to evacuate
