Iskander
Iskander is home to many farms that have fed humanity's space frontier for centuries, earning it the title "the Breadbasket of the Federation". Over 80% of its adult population are citizens, having served in the Federal Armed Forces.
Hesperus
Hesperus was the first of the Federation's colonies outside of the Solar System, has massive reserves of resources, and serves as the Federation's premier shipbuilding colony. Its people are known for two things: their renowned work ethic, and their devotion to religion.
Epsilon Prime
The business on Epsilon Prime is business. With all the huge corporations on EP, money rules the streets. "Everyone has their price" is especially true on Epsilon Prime and goes for the majority of people there.
Castus
Castus is a grim and humourless place. A gas giant in which colonists live on one of four oribital platforms, it lacks any distinct culture, as most of the population are itinerant workers for the Castus Corporation.
Hod
Hod is the agricultural twin of Hesperus. Founded to supply Hesperus with food and agriculture, colonists from Hod often find themselves in competition with their twin.
Karrus
Karrus is home to the largest population of humans anywhere outside the Sol system. The people of Karrus tend to be proud, optimistic and confident, cultural traits that are easily understandable given all the colony has accomplished in its relatively young life.
Wolf Run
A series of mining stations within an asteroid belt. Mining is only slightly less hazardous than combat duty and it is rare for more than a month to go by without an accidental fatality, lending a certain callousness and gallows humour to the men and women of Wolf Run.
Pollor
With a population primarily devoted to the mining of the eponymous gas giant, the people of Pollor fall under the purview of a vast civilian consortium.
Illidan
Illidan prides itself on its raw material abundance and it's lush flora, being a Mining and R&D Colony with focus on hard-work and technological advance. Illidan is home to Earthly traditions with it's colonists being big on Federal Service - thinking of themselves higher than the average civilian
Riin
The dirty secret of Iskander. Riin is a small moon orbiting the lush planet, dotted with numerous mining and starship fuel production facilities. Ten atmospheric processing domes provide shelter from the harsh landscape outside. Its citizens are loyal to the Federation, but notoriously humorless and xenophobic.
Shackleton
A small world beyond the edge of civilised space. The people of Shackleton are hardened frontiersmen who provide the last safe harbour on the edge of the Skinnie Quarantine Zone, and are known for their stark sense of justice and isolation.
Kailash
Times are dire on Kailash, a world renowned for its vast boron mines. Currently facing an Arachnid invasion due to its strategic placement along a hyperlane chokepoint, the people of Kailash have grown steadfast, and increasingly common within the Mobile Infantry.
