| After landing on the planet with only six men, the infantry swiftly moved to defend the local settlement. After taking the settlement, they used emplacements to shred wave after wave of Arachnid. MOBCOMM requested that the MI use a seismic reader on a structure to the east of the settlement. After moving to the settlement and setting up the reader, the infantry held their position until it was completed. At this point, the MI had three grievously wounded casualties, everyone else was walking wounded. Dougherty called in advancing TAC strikes to keep as many arachnids off the group as they moved, due to all of them carrying wounded. Taking light arachnid contact, the group was able to move to an outpost to the north of the structure where Viking was able to pick them up. | |
